Your ears say accordion.
But there is no traditional accordion in sight.
In this short performance, the musician creates a full accordion-style sound using the Sunrise Melody XR6000 electronic wind instrument. The contrast between the familiar sound and the instrument in her hands gives the video its surprise.
Near the end, the source is revealed clearly: that accordion sound came from the Sunrise Melody XR6000.
Rather than focusing on settings or technical controls, this performance lets the sound speak for itself and shows another musical character that can be explored on an EWI.
