A piano sound - played with your breath?
In this short performance, the musician uses the Sunrise Melody XR6000 electronic wind instrument to create a familiar piano-style sound. Instead of pressing piano keys, the melody is performed through the XR6000 using wind-style playing.
The contrast between the sound and the instrument gives the performance its surprise. Near the end, the video reveals the source clearly: that piano sound came from the Sunrise Melody XR6000.
Rather than focusing on technical settings, this clip lets the sound and performance take center stage.
What sound should we try next?
